Very good, but…

This is one of the best apps for walking (or bicycle) navigation. It is not a fully-fledged car navigation app. There are already two or three very good car navigation apps, so why the heck are they implementing traffic features and taxi stuff?

It would be better if they focus on things where the app already excels (i.e. walking navigation) and make it perfect in that domain.

For example, some versions ago they added a Track Recording feature (“Recent Track”). This is nice, but the way they implemented it, it is rather battery draining, and therefore should only be switched on temporarily. But: the switch to turn it on/off is buried in the settings screen. That means I either never turn it on, or I forget to turn it off when I no longer need it.

The Track Recording switch (and indicator!) belongs to the top level of the UI (e.g. bottom menu bar).
